TM8208 Movement in Blue and Green 32×48 oil on panel

Watching the movement of water can be a mesmerizing event, leaving one in a state of suspended animation – acutely aware of one’s surroundings and yet oblivious at the same time.  Painting that movement can have a similar effect, as the painter becomes one with the rhythms via a brush – and time dissolves.
