Come September

TM8275 Come September 16×16 oil on panel

Yes, it’s that time of year again, when the sedums and blueberries start their shift to crimson and scarlet, and every stony crack sheds its initial reticence to proclaim its new-found neon colors.  On my recent trip to Lubec, Maine and Campobello Island, New Brunswick I found the colors were already turning, and this painting, titled Come September, is one result. Enjoy!
