I’ve always wondered what stones would say if they could tell us their stories. These stones certainly have a rich history, from beginning as giant mountains to the arrival and retreat of glaciers, to their weathering old age. And what would they say about color? As the moss and lichens cling, do the hard surfaces develop a fondness for their new raiment? I would. And the interweaving of greens and grays offers a rich, if subdued, color harmony for painting. Enjoy!
Love this!
Thanks MJ. I’m working my way toward the mountains!
