TM8432 Tango Lily 12×12 oil on panel
The more I study the lily pond, the more individual and idiosyncratic each lily becomes. Tango Lily, my newest portrait, features a lusty lily flaunting her attributes. The red stems underwater and reaching pink petals say this one is ready to move – perhaps waiting impatiently for the bud nearby to open and become her partner….well, granted, that might be a stretch, but it’s all in the spirit of fun.
