TM8526 Theme for Floating Greens 36×40 oil on panel

Maybe it’s the 24.4 inches of snow so far this week, but I really enjoyed working on this summer pond subject and pretending it was actually late June. The composition is a lush homage to summer greens with their fresh hues. Everything is new. A few floating leaves indicate the passage of a recent storm – a storm that doesn’t require a shovel!
