Another week working my way into the soul of yellow, and I’ve hardly begun to understand it. The four 6×6 studies below look at subtle through saturated yellows. Yellow is the supporting actor in the first two, and yellow is the boisterous star of the last two. Of course they all speak to the mood of September, and the wonder of a simple walk into the woods. I really like these studies, I can see the “soul” of yellow in them.
