October has so many reds – warm and cool, dark and bright, rich and tonal. This week l spent time studying those reds in the context of an unassuming grove, one made extraordinary by its beauty. But its real importance is what it can do – provide refuge and life-giving oxygen – every tree, all the time. I pay homage.
