One phenomenon of autumn is the fabulous migration of birds. One can be walking outside, turn a corner, and hear an explosion of twittering coming from the trees, but you don’t see the birds! I’ve wondered what that feels like from the trees point of view. All that vibration of sound – the energy released from the heart of the tree! This new painting is about that vibration and exploding sound – loud, but not harsh – and of course in my new favorite yellow. Bless you Autumn! Detail below.
