This and Emerging from the Woods are full of energy. How did you manage plein air painting in the winter?
I don’t. I pack a bag of batteries and go out with my camera to document what I see, imagining that I’m painting it. Then I rush to the studio to lay down my impressions. Works in light rain and snow, too!
